Maximum field strength: 3.0T

Maximum Load: 100 pounds (45kg) It’s only intended use if for the safe storage and in room transportation of larger MRI coils. 

While Scanning: Store the MRI SAFE STORAGE Large Coil Cart at least 5ft from the imaging volume. While extensive effort has been made to remove all metallic components the castors (wheels) do have a small amount of non ferris metallic components. While not attracted to the the magnetic field, they potentially could affect imaging if stored too close. We haven’t seen it, but the potential is there. 

Use: This cart was designed to store and move larger MRI coils within the MRI exam room and to aid the loading and unloading of such coils to the patient table. The height and walk through design is such that it prevents the MRI Technologist from needed to bend down or twist at the waist to move larger coils. It helps protect both the equipment and staff.
